Skills and Drills Training

Our experienced coaching team run a well structured skills & drills session every Thursday's at 7.00pmfor anyone over 17 years of age. The sessions are designed to teach ball handling, rucking, mauling, tackling, positional play, scrumaging and lineouts for the forwards and attacking moves for the backs.

With a good mix of veteran and inexperienced players, Calne RFC is an excellent to come and train whether you are a seasoned pro or just starting out.

And don’t forget that selection is based on attendance at training!



Fitness Training

Our fitness and conditioning sessions are designed to get the best possible level of fitness while still having an enjoyable time. Sessions are open to all: male, female, young, old, parents, members and non-members alike! Please come and join in.

During the summer months sessions will be held outdoors at the Recreation club at 7pm on Tuesdays while during the winter months sessions will be held indoors at John Bentley School in Calne at 7pm on Mondays. Keep an eye on the news page to know where it is being held.
