Playing membership subscriptions for the 2004/05 season are due before the 11th of September 2004.

Player’s Annual Subscription: £35.00.

Payment of the above subscription will entitle you to a reduced match fee of £2.50 per game.

Please note that there will be no subscription charge for unwaged players and all such players are entitled to the reduced match fee of £2.50.

The club is also offering a ‘Pay-as-you-play’ option. This will be particularly suitable to players who cannot commit to every game this season due to work commitments for example. This option does not require payment of the annual subscription but does require that the full match fee of £5.00 per game be paid. For example, the estimated cost per season based on 10 games played (out of 25) will be £50.00. Conversely, if all 25 games were played the estimated cost will be £125.00. Therefore, the subscription plus reduced match fee option will provide a substantial saving. For instance, the estimated cost per season based on subscription plus the reduced match fee over 25 games is £97.50.

Please remember that the club’s membership card will only be issued to subscription payers or unwaged players, so ‘pay as you play’ players remember to invest in a spot as soon as possible for the inevitable spot check or two!!

Subscriptions must be paid in full prior to the first game of the season. A single standing order payment may be made, please ask The Secretary for more details. Otherwise, please pay Matt in cash or make your cheque payable to ‘Calne Rugby Club’.

The Club policy of ‘no pay no play’ will be enforced. Meaning match fees must be paid prior to kick off. No back payment is acceptable. Please refer to Calne Rugby Club Rules for details of extra ordinary concessions.

Please also note that drivers are required to pay match fees in full, but they can expect their drinks brought for them by their passengers.

The management committee will decide on a case-by-case basis who qualifies for the unwaged concession. Please contact the Secretary for more information.
